Thrilled to be recruiting for this luxury 5* hotel spa in beautiful Barbados.

 

We will be requiring a strong Spa Manager with previous 5* hotel spa experience and to be able to understand the link between hotel and spa.

 

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifying excellent customer service, and creating a positive atmosphere for guest relations
  • Preparing, implementing and updating The Spa business and marketing plan
  • Coordinating Spa promotions and other marketing activities to maximise the Spa’s position in the market
  • Overseeing the Spa’s financial budget, controlling costs and preparing expense reports for the Board of Directors
  • Ensuring the Spa operating procedures and policies are implemented and updated as required
  • Managing the daily Spa operation and liaising with other staff members to ensure industry standards are upheld
  • Ensuring general cleanliness and maintenance of Spa environment
  • Managing client feedback in accordance with the hotels standards
  • Checking and maintaining inventory of all Spa products
  • Ensuring that employees are adequately trained, developed and measures implemented for any identified performance gaps

 

The successful applicant should possess:

  • A degree/executive level diploma in Spa/Hotel/Tourism/Business Administration Management from a recognised tertiary level institution
  • A Certified Therapist qualification from a recognised institution
  • A minimum of five (5) years spa management experience in a luxury 5 star or similar spa environment
  • Exceptional technical knowledge of spa operations and techniques available within the market
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, high levels of integrity and a positive work ethic
  • Exceptional customer focused, team oriented and strong interpersonal skills
  • Merchandising/visual skills; experience with product retail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Spa scheduling software
