Sales Manager

Sales Manager

The Opportunity with a fantastic aesthetic company.

We’re looking for a Field Sales Manager with a genuine hunter mentality — someone who is fired up by new
business, hungry for targets, and disciplined enough to build a machine around it.

This is a national leadership position, not a bigger territory. You’ll take day-to-day ownership of our field and inside sales operation, driving
aggressive new business growth while building the retention and growth strategy for our existing customer base,
brand by brand.

My client is a fast-growing business with a world-class brand portfolio, still small enough that one person can make a
real dent. We already hold accounts worth £50,000+ a year — proof of what’s possible once you’re through the
door. If you’ve got the guts and determination to go and get more of that, the earning potential here is real.
You must currently be in a sales leadership role. This is a step up, not a first-time move into management.

This Role Is Not For You If…

• You wait for leads to land rather than going out and creating them.
• You’re uncomfortable picking up the phone and cold calling with real conviction.
• You see selling as taking orders rather than spotting and driving a business opportunity.
• You’re happy to plod along at target rather than push to smash it.

What You’ll Do

Lead the sales team
• Take day-to-day management responsibility for our two Business Development Managers and two
Inside Sales Executives, setting activity standards, coaching performance and holding the team
accountable to revenue and new business targets.
• Instil a hunter mentality across the team — proactive prospecting, fast follow-up, no complacency on
existing accounts.
• Act as the escalation point for the sales team, freeing the Managing Director from day-to-day sales
oversight.
• Own CRM discipline across the team (Pipedrive), ensuring activity, pipeline and forecasting data is
accurate and current.
Drive new business
• Personally hunt and close new business at strategic and national accounts, group clinics and KOLs
where seniority matters.
• Set and drive the team’s new business targets across the portfolio, with no tolerance for coasting on
existing revenue.
• Represent USG’s brand portfolio at trade shows and industry events, including Professional Beauty.
Protect and grow existing business
• Build and own retention and growth strategies for existing accounts, brand by brand
• Work closely with the marketing department to align campaigns, launches and account activity with
sales targets.
• Identify at-risk or under performing accounts and build recovery plans.
What My Client is Looking For
• Currently in a customer-facing sales leadership role, ideally within aesthetics, medical devices,
pharmaceuticals or a comparable clinical/B2B distribution environment.
• Based in the UK, with permanent right to work in the UK.
• Holds a clean driving licence — essential.
• A true hunter — energised by new business, competitive, relentless, and able to instil that same
mentality in others.
• A provable track record of self-generated pipeline: cold calling, prospecting and opening doors with
real conviction and tenacity, not relying on inbound leads.
• Strong business acumen — able to read a prospect’s business and pivot the conversation from ‘here’s
our product’ to ‘here’s the commercial solution you need.’
• Proven experience managing and developing a sales team, ideally a mix of field and inside sales.
• Disciplined and commercially fluent — comfortable owning targets, forecasting and CRM-driven
performance management.
• Experience working hand-in-hand with a marketing function to drive account growth and retention.
• Credibility with clinic owners and practitioners; genuine interest in skin health or the wider clinical
aesthetics sector is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable with regular national travel and happy to be in the Letchworth Garden City office one day
a week for team and leadership alignment.

What My Client Offers

• A genuine leadership role with day-to-day authority — not a title without the remit.
• Hybrid working: national travel plus one fixed day a week in our Letchworth Garden City office.
• Multiple award-winning brand partnerships and a decade-long track record in the sector.
• £65,000–£75,000 base salary (depending on experience), £80,000+ OTE, plus car allowance and
pension.
• The opportunity to shape how the sales function scales as the business grows.

We look forward to hearing from you.
